San Francisco: Banning Circumcision

scared baby boy.jpgThis November, voters in San Francisco will vote either for or against the banning of infant circumcision. The controversial petition to be decided would prohibit the circumcision of males under the age of eighteen and if violated would become a misdemeanor offense.

As a Jacksonville Family Law Attorney I notice two large issues with this potential new law, one, the effects on religious freedom and two, the effects on parental rights.
